1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Peptide House website (peptidehouse.com.au) and any order you place with us. By browsing this site or submitting an order, you accept these Terms in full. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the site or place an order.

2. Research-Use Restriction

Placing an order confirms that you are acquiring the product(s) for genuine research purposes only, and that you accept full responsibility for ensuring your use complies with the law in your jurisdiction.

3. Key Terms Used in This Document

• “Goods” — the peptides and associated research materials available for purchase on this site.
• “Buyer” — the person or organisation placing an order.
• “Laboratory Use” — handling and use confined to a controlled research setting, not intended for any biological application in or on a living organism.
• “Order” — a purchase request submitted via the website checkout.

4. Who Can Buy From Us

To place an order, you must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be acquiring Goods for a genuine, lawful research purpose
• Give us accurate, current details at checkout
• Comply with all laws relevant to acquiring and using research peptides in your location

We may decline or cancel any order, at any time, where we reasonably believe these conditions haven’t been met.

5. Product Listings and Pricing

We make reasonable efforts to keep product information, specifications, and imagery accurate, but we don’t guarantee it’s free of error or omission.

All prices are listed in AUD and are GST-inclusive where GST applies. Prices may change without notice; however, a price change won’t affect an order you’ve already had confirmed.

Stock levels and product availability can change at any time, and we may withdraw a product from sale at our discretion.

6. Placing an Order and Paying

Submitting an order is an offer to buy, which we may accept or decline. An order isn’t binding on us until we’ve confirmed it.

We currently accept:

• Direct bank transfer (EFT)
• Credit or debit card, via our secure payment processor

Bank transfer orders are held pending cleared payment; if payment isn’t received within 7 days, the order may be cancelled automatically. Goods are dispatched only once payment has cleared in full.

7. Delivery

We currently deliver to Australian addresses only. Delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on order size and destination.

Delivery estimates are indicative only — we don’t guarantee specific delivery windows, and we’re not liable for delays caused by couriers, weather, public holidays, or other events outside our control.

Once a parcel is delivered to the address you provided, responsibility for it passes to you. Please double-check your delivery address before submitting an order — we’re not responsible for parcels misdelivered due to incorrect address details, nor for loss or damage occurring after delivery is confirmed.

8. Refunds, Replacements, and Returns

• Damaged or wrong items: Let us know within 48 hours of delivery, with photos, and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.
• Suspected quality issue: Contact us with details if you believe a product is below our stated specification. We may ask you to return the item for testing before resolving the matter.
• Change of mind: Because we can’t verify the integrity of a peptide once it has left our facility, we don’t offer change-of-mind returns.

Where a refund is approved, we’ll process it to your original payment method within 14 business days.

9. Storing Your Order

To protect product integrity, we recommend:

• Storing lyophilised peptides at or below -20°C
• Shielding products from light and moisture
• Following any handling notes included with your order

We’re not responsible for degradation caused by storage or handling errors after the Goods have been delivered to you.

10. Our Content and IP

Everything on this website — text, images, logos, layout, and code — belongs to Peptide House or our licensors and is protected under copyright law. You may not copy, repurpose, or redistribute it without our written consent.

11. Liability

To the extent the law allows:

• Goods are supplied “as is,” with no warranty that they’re fit for any particular purpose beyond laboratory research.
• We exclude liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our Goods or website.
• Where we are liable, our liability is capped at the amount you paid for the specific Goods giving rise to the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that can’t lawfully be excluded — including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

12. You Agree to Cover Us If…

You agree to indemnify Peptide House, and our staff and agents, against claims, losses, or costs (including legal costs) arising from:

• Your use of the Goods
• Your breach of these Terms
• Your breach of any law applicable to your purchase or use of the Goods
• Any false statement you make about your research purpose or eligibility to buy

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time; updates take effect as soon as they’re posted. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Check back periodically.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of NSW courts.

16. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms limits any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2, Competition and Consumer Act 2010) or other consumer protection laws that can’t be excluded by agreement.

17. If a Clause Doesn’t Hold Up

Should any part of these Terms be found invalid or unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply in full.
